Banda Aceh (12/11) – Indonesian Communication Association (ISKI) again held a national conference entitled communications Communication International Conference of Indonesia Communications Scholars Association 2019. Invited participants from Communication Science background in various Indonesia region, this event aims to improve the network and the quality of the development of Communication Studies. This year the topic is Nationality without Boundaries: Communication and Media Challenges in Building Social Solidarity.

This event is an activity that is organized every two years by inviting communications experts from both the international and national levels. The event was attended by approximately 152 researchers who will then present their research results into clusters that have been predetermined. Total there are clusters of this time not only eleven which is still located within the scope of a topic to which still better and greater claim. Kyriad Hotel Muraya Aceh designated as the site of the event, which lasted for three days from July 12 until November 14, 2019.

The first day begins with the opening of the conference and parallel sessions, followed by dinner with the Mayor of Banda Aceh in the Hall the Mayor of Banda Aceh. The second day continued with the International Conference ISKI 2019, parallel sessions, working group meetings, and dinners together cover the Acting Governor. On the third day, the event was moved to the island of Sabang to implement the Declaration on the National Communications Kilometer Zero Sabang and ending with suave together with the Mayor of Sabang.

The Department of Communication Studies, Diponegoro University enliven by following a series of activities and send eight representatives of lecturers among others: Head of the Department of Communication Studies Hapsari Dwiningtyas, Secretary of the Department Rouli Manalu, Head Master of Communication Studies Nurul Hasfi, Secretary of the Master in Science Communication Latitude Rahmiaji, Turnomo Rahadjo, Adi Nugroho, Sri Widowati Herieningsih and Amida Yusriana. They presented a paper that is the result of research throughout 2018-2019.
