Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi (HMPS Ilkom) FISIP Diponegoro University, once again successfully held Olympiacomm 2025 with the theme “The Pirates Bounty: A Treasure Hunt.” Initiated by the Department of Interests and Talents, the event took place on April 19–20 and April 26–27, 2025, featuring two main competition categories: Mobile Legends and futsal. The activities were held offline at two locations: Mille Coffee FISIP Undip for the Mobile Legends e-sports competition, and the FISIP Undip Basketball Court for the futsal matches.

Involving a total of 80 people, 48 participants and 32 committee members the event was led by Chief Organizer Indira Prameswari Widyanti and her team. Participants were active Communication Science students from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 cohorts. The spirit of competition was felt from the first day of the Mobile Legends tournament. Despite a schedule change due to internal issues with one of the teams, the committee swiftly adjusted the match flow to ensure the competition continued smoothly. The highlight came when Team 2024A emerged as the champion after defeating 2023A in a highly strategic and intense final match.

The next week saw even more excitement with the futsal matches. Cheers and chants between student cohorts filled the FISIP Undip Basketball Court with vibrant energy and sportsmanship. The final match between the 2022 and 2024 cohorts was the most anticipated moment. After a fierce battle, Team 2024 scored the winning goal and secured the futsal championship title for Olympiacomm this year.

More than just a sports and entertainment event, Olympiacomm 2025 served as a platform for students to channel their interests and talents, while also strengthening intergenerational solidarity. Through this competition, participants not only honed their technical skills in sports and e-sports but also developed essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and time management. The spirit of unity and sportsmanship fostered throughout became the true “treasure” of Olympiacomm—perfectly in line with the event’s theme.
