Semarang – FISIP<\/strong> MARS, an annual competition between Faculty of Social Science and Political Science <\/strong>of Diponegoro University (FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong>) students in the fields of arts, sports, and culture is again being held by BEM FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong>. The theme for this year is “Archipelago Expedition” to show the beauty of Indonesia. FISIP<\/strong> MARS 2021 has various types of competitions tailored to the interests and talents of FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> students.<\/p>\n

One of the competitions that drew attention was the selection of Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong>. The selection of Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> is held every year to find students who can be good faces and representation for FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> inside and outside the campus environment. The process of selecting Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> went through various stages, namely submitting Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> candidates from each study program, gatherings, interviews, and voting to determine the elected Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> candidates.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Communication Science<\/strong> was also proud of the selection of Devina Meidy Fidelia, a 2019 Communication Science<\/strong> student, as Mbak FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> 2020. Previously, Communication Science<\/strong> sent four candidates for FISIP<\/strong> 2020 as a representative of the study program. Apart from Devina, two other representatives of Communication Science<\/strong> also received awards, namely Rahma Kurnia as Deputy 1 Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2020 and Bintang Anugrah Roshadi as Mas FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> 2020 Friendship.<\/p>\n

Good communication skills are needed, a deep understanding of FISIP<\/strong>, and national insight, of course, many things must be prepared to become a candidate for Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2020. Devina also shared her experiences during the selection process for Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2020 and after being elected as Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2020.<\/p>\n

“The requirements seem to vary every year. It depends on the committee itself, \u201dsaid Devina regarding the preparations made to become a candidate for Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“From me, prepare mentally and enthusiastically to bring the good name of the department and faculty, get to know the faculty further. Because the goal of joining Mas Mbak is to represent FISIP<\/strong> itself,” she added.<\/p>\n

Elected as Mbak FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> 2020, Devina received appreciation from BEM and support from HMPS, as well as friends from the Communication Science Study Program<\/strong>. Devina revealed that last year the preparation for the election of Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> was quite sudden, which resulted in no sponsors being found so that there was no coaching money and only certificates of appreciation were given. However, she admitted that there was no problem and said that she was very grateful to have the mandate of being Mbak FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> 2020 which was a matter of pride for her.<\/p>\n

She shared that during her time at FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> 2020, she often received invitations to become a moderator in BEM FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> activities with representatives of 1 Mbak FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Yesterday we also helped work on a project to fill the BEM FISIP<\/strong> program on the big day, and God willing, this year will participate with BEM Soraya to help enliven the FISIP<\/strong> MARS 2021 event,” said Devina.<\/p>\n

The Covid-19 pandemic situation, made the continuity of the selection process for Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2020, which was originally offline, was transferred online for the first time. However, the event for Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2021 will not have much difference from the previous year. The difference is in the timeline and timing of activities, as well as the event system, which was previously a live show on the spot, now live to stream.<\/p>\n

Towards FISIP<\/strong> MARS 2021, Devina advised the candidate Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2021 that the election for Mas FISIP<\/strong> is nothing to lose, candidates need to experience the process and expand this opportunity to network with other faculty friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cStay catchy and humble at the same time, don’t forget to always pray to the Almighty and try your best. For the result, that’s a matter for later,\u201d said Devina to the candidate Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> 2021.<\/p>\n

Not to forget, she expressed his hopes for the pair Mas Mbak FISIP<\/strong> Undip<\/strong> 2021, that is, hopefully, this year’s pair can carry out the mandate and make a much better contribution along with the increasing generation of Mas FISIP<\/strong> and always be able to make the faculty proud inside and outside the campus.<\/p>\n

“Keep up the spirit, from FISIP<\/strong> to FISIP<\/strong>! Don’t forget to be a good role model and spread positive vibes,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n
