Semarang – Temu Keakraban (Teka) and Welcoming Party (Welpart) for Communication Science Study Program FISIP Undip 2021 was finally held hybridly on February 7, 2022 at 10.00-15.00 WIB by using zoom platform. The hybrid method in question is that some of the organizers were present directly at the event venue, while all participants were present online.
The program that intended to welcome freshman students in the 2021 class and to build inter-forces introduce neo themes that inspired by the music transition from the 90s to the 2000s.
Teka X Welpart Implementation Series 2021
“By lifting the tagline ‘UNITY THROUGH HARMONY’, we strive to emphasize that the diversity that exists can still run in harmony as well as the hope for all participants of Teka X Welpart 2021 to be able to become a generation that knows each other and is able to collaborate in the future. Hopefully this essence can be interpreted well so that it becomes a spirit in dynamics on campus, especially in Undip Communication Science,” said Antonia Rachel, a student of Communication Science class of 2020, as chairman of Welpart 2021.
Teka X Welpart 2021 series of events begins with group sharing and searches for guardian angels or companion sisters through clues on each guardian angel’s Instagram Story. Furthermore, Participants of Teka X Welpart 2021 were asked to fill out a crossword puzzle to upload on Instagram Story. In addition, participants must also upload twibbon on Instagram and do Tiktok Challenge.
Arriving on the day of the implementation of Teka X Welpart 2021, all participants were greeted with appearances from the committee as well as sharing sessions by big-level brothers. In this sharing session, seniors told their experiences during college, including organizational experiences and being outstanding students, and gave a message to Teka X Welpart 2021 participants as new students to live their future lecture life.
“In my personal opinion, I remember the message most from Sister Devina. He said that while still young, we should look for as much experience as possible, both on and off campus, because those experiences can be useful in the future,” said Jihan Elsa, one of the participants of Teka X Welpart 2021, regarding the most memorable message during the sharing session.
Interestingly, for this year’s Teka X Welpart event, the organizing committee presented something different, namely by making a short film. The production of the short film titled “Teka Goes to the White Cross” and “Moela” intends to convey the visualization and meaning of the implementation of Teka X Welpart to new students who still have to follow the series of events online due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as being an offering from the 2020 class to the 2021 class.
Student Impressions 2021 After Following Teka X Welpart
Apart from some of the obstacles experienced during its implementation, the Teka X Welpart 2021 event was quite successful to give a good impression to the participants. Through the Teka X Welpart 2021 event, participants can certainly expand relationships, both with older siblings and friends, especially through various games that require cooperation in groups.
“In addition to adding relationships, Teka X Welpart 2021 is entertainment for me during the holidays. Another advantage is that I became more motivated because I got knowledge from the speakers who filled the Teka X Welpart show,” Elsa added.
Support from HMPS & Communication Science Study Program
The success of the entire series of Teka X Welpart 2021 events is certainly inseparable from the full support of the Student Association of Communication Science Study Program (HMPS Ilkom) which houses the Teka X Welpart 2021 event, as well as from the Communication Science Study Program itself which always gives a positive response to the entire series of events.
