Student Corps of Communication (KOMAKO) Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Gadjah Mada University held the Ajisaka UGM Festival in 2019. The annual competition in the field of communication received full support from the Department of Communication, Fisipol UGM, and held the seventh to present 5 main race points, namely advertising (Sadewa), Journalism (Arjuna), film (Krishna), relationship Community (Prahasta) and Communication Research (Nakula).
Lisa Lindawati, S. IP., MA Lecturer of Communication department Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Gadjah Mada University said the title of Ajisaka Festival is a learning space that is strategic for the students of the Department of Communication Gadjah Mada University and to compete and learn from each other. According to the study room in the classroom is not enough to give students a real experience related to the development of the industry.
Meanwhile, as Chairman Ajisaka Nandipi Noval added to this year Festival Ajisaka theme Abhipraya Darani: Plastic Meluak which means Hope of Earth: Reduce Plastic. This theme was considering the issue of plastic waste is a serious threat in Indonesia.
And representation student Department of Communication Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University who does participate the Competition Category Nakula Strategic Communications Research Reaching Youth Champion is Tjen Maurilia Zerlin and Mimi Sakinah Hilma. While the category of Student Academic Research Competition Department of Communication Sciences Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro Universitymanaged to become the 3rd winner, contest category Academic Research hatched by Arlina Satiti Mugi Lara, Iffah Sofiyah Ariefah and Gunawan Setyabudi
Ajisaka Festival becomes an arena for creative people to taste how the communications industry today. With the increasingly diverse manifestations of creativity in communications practice, this festival tries to deliver real landscape for creative people by the possibilities that can be achieved when later plunged into the dynamic world of communications.
