Semarang (September 17, 2025) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Diponegoro, proudly celebrates another outstanding achievement at the international level. Ainun Rahimah Iskandar, a 2023 Communication Science student, together with a cross-disciplinary team, successfully earned a Silver Medal at Indonesia Inventors Day 2025.

The competition, organized by INNOPA, was held on September 11–14, 2025, at SMESCO Exhibition Hall, Jakarta, bringing together inventors and innovators from around the world. Ainun and six other UNDIP students from Psychology, Statistics, and Informatics formed the team “Charing Cub,” presenting their work “Charing Cub: A Digital Innovation for the Future of Children and Family Empowerment.”

As the sole representative from FISIP, Ainun highlighted the importance of social and political sciences in supporting innovation. “FISIP plays a crucial role in ensuring that every innovative idea does not stop at the level of technology but can be understood, accepted, and impactful for society,” Ainun said. She also emphasized that cross-faculty collaboration reflects UNDIP’s strong academic ecosystem that fosters synergy to create globally recognized achievements.

This accomplishment is a source of pride for FISIP UNDIP, proving that its students are not only engaged in social and political studies but are also actively involved in digital innovation. It strengthens the faculty’s position as an adaptive and relevant institution that prepares competitive students for the international stage.
