A village website is a crucial tool for disseminating information and showcasing the village’s potential to the general public, both within and outside the village. Despite its significance, content management on the Sudimoro Village website has been minimal, resulting in a lack of digital presence for the village in the online world.
Recognizing this issue, Kinanti Adinda Widiaputri, a member of the Universitas Diponegoro KKN Team, initiated a training program focused on educating participants on various key aspects of village website management. The participants, aged between 10 and 18 years, were trained on how to create and manage informative and engaging content. They were also encouraged to regularly write or produce informative content, ensuring that the village website consistently provides up-to-date information relevant to the community’s needs.

“Digital presence is crucial in this era, not only for large companies but also for villages. A well-managed website allows Sudimoro Village to showcase its potential to the outside world, which in turn can attract tourists, investors, and other parties that could support the village’s development,” said Kinanti, who served as the speaker for the program.
Additionally, the training emphasized the importance of collaboration between village officials and residents in managing website content. Active community participation is expected to enhance the quality of information presented and foster a sense of ownership over this digital platform.
Through this training, it is hoped that Sudimoro Village can build a strong digital presence, enabling easy access to information about the village and increasing awareness of its potential on a larger scale. This is anticipated to drive the overall development of the village, in economic, social, and cultural aspects.
This activity also highlights the importance of synergy between the academic world and the community in addressing the challenges of digitalization in the modern era. The program is part of the efforts by the Universitas Diponegoro KKN Team, acting as agents of change, to play a vital role in supporting villages across Indonesia in becoming more prepared for the digital age through targeted training and assistance.***
