On Saturday, July 27, 2024, Hutari Indah Nuranti, a student from Team II of Universitas Diponegoro’s Community Service Program (KKN), conducted an educational session on ‘screen time’ aimed at providing crucial information to parents with young children. The event took place in Majegan Village, specifically in Patran Hamlet.

This educational session was organized in response to the growing concerns among parents regarding the negative impact of excessive screen time on children. The activity was designed to assist parents in cultivating healthy digital habits for their children, particularly in an era where digital devices have become an integral part of daily life.

During the event, Hutari Indah Nuranti explained various important aspects related to screen time, including its positive and negative impacts, and provided practical guidelines for parents on managing their children’s screen time. She also emphasized the importance of balancing technology use with physical activities and social interactions.

The parents who attended the session were enthusiastic and actively engaged in discussions about the challenges they face in managing their children’s screen time. Many expressed concerns about the difficulty of limiting the use of digital devices, especially amidst social pressures and the rapid development of technology.
